Another wonderful Spring day for the Cone Azalia Road Race
with the temperatures in the 60's and 70's. However, the dry, dusty conditions
proved to be tough for the Wolverines with many riders having a hard day in the
saddle. Not so for Sven Baumann who despite flatting managed to get back with
the lead group finishing second in a thrilling field sprint to Dan Korienek in the Pro men's catagory.
Other notable placings came from:
Edwin Ho - 10th place in the Cat 5 Men 35+
Patrick Robb - 10th place in the Cat 3 Men
Cameron Robertson - 5th place in the Junior 10-14
Brian Kozeliski also hung in the Cat 1/2 Men for a 22nd
place finish after many others had DNF'd
