Cone-Azalia Road Race

Sunday May 5th
Milan MI
Another wonderful Spring day for the Cone Azalia Road Race with the temperatures in the 60's and 70's. However, the dry, dusty conditions proved to be tough for the Wolverines with many riders having a hard day in the saddle. Not so for Sven Baumann who despite flatting managed to get back with the lead group finishing second in a thrilling field sprint to Dan Korienek in the Pro men's catagory.

Other notable placings came from:
Edwin Ho - 10th place in the Cat 5 Men 35+
Patrick Robb - 10th place in the Cat 3 Men
Cameron Robertson - 5th place in the Junior 10-14
Brian Kozeliski also hung in the Cat 1/2 Men for a 22nd place finish after many others had DNF'd
Former Wolverine Danielle Mullis also managed her first Cat 1,2,3 Women's Road Race win.

Willow Run Time Trial

April 27th 2013
The Willow Run Time Trial is the curtain opener for the Michigan Challenge Series and one of the main events run by the Wolverines during the year.
The conditions were ideal, dry, warm and sunny with very little wind resulting in fast times for the day. Find below a novel way at looking at how our team finished.
Our very own Sven Baumann was the fastest competitor on the day with a time of 28 minutes and 03 seconds. Luke Mullis also managed a 2nd place in a strong Junior Men 15-18 field with a time of 31 minutes and 47 seconds. Kelly Patterson also finished in 2nd place in the Women 35+ with a time of 35 minutes 38 seconds.
